GTA 5 – GTA Online (Club) Sell: Special Orders – Is It Worth It?

If you have a Club, which if you read this likely do or at least is thinking about buying, you can sell Special Orders. But is it worth it? How much extra do you make if anything?

The Requirements

Note: Credit goes to BadTrip

There is nothing special needed to accrue the goods, it’s completely passive. All you need is the Club of your choice and a technician (you get Yohan automatically).

The products are divided into 7 sections. In parentheses are the businesses required for the goods to be accumulated. The businesses require an enterprise (CEO or MC) through which you can buy them. You see how they have you on a string so you have to spend more money?

  • Cargo and Shipment (Special Cargo Warehouse or Smuggler’s Hangar)
  • Cash Creation (Counterfeit Cash Factory)
  • Organic Produce (Weed Farm)
  • South American Imports (Cocaine Lockup)
  • Printing & Copying (Document Forgery Office)
  • Sporting Goods (Gunrunning Bunker)
  • Pharmaceutical Research (Methamphetamine Lab)

Respective business will have to be active, e.i. not shut down (raided, manually shut down e t c). However, they don’t require you to have an active production running to function. Again, as long as they are active, the accumulation is passive.

Something that do influence the price you get and the speed of accrue goods are the upgrades you can make (as seen below):

You also have to assign a technician to each section you want to accrue. Technically you can with enough time just use Yohan and reassign him as one section is filled up. However you can hire more. New with the latest patch is that you can call Yohan and get a mission to collect goods (similar to the Business battle).

You can also buy more warehouse space by going to the Renovate option for your Club.

The security as with all businesses DOES NOT prevent raiding by FIB e t c. It only increases the time between the raids.

Stock Prices

Below is the standard price for 1 unit of each item (with upgrade).

  • South American Imports 27000
  • Pharmaceutical Research 11475
  • Cargo and Shipment 10000
  • Sporting Goods 5000
  • Cash Creation 4725
  • Organic Produce 2025
  • Printing & Copying 1350

We will use this in a moment to see what the special orders does to the profit.

Profit (or How I Learned to Love Money)

If you go to the sell goods section in your Club management, you will see that there are Special orders that you can sell.

It comes in 3 sections with random business names. This is an example:

  • Cash Creation 7
  • Organic Produce 13
  • Pharmaceutical Research 4

The selling prices for this special order was 110656.

Now we can calculate what profit it will give us by comparing to the regular stock prices:

  • Cash Creation 7 x 4725
  • Organic Produce 13 x 2025
  • Pharmaceutical Research 4 x 11475

Add it up and you will get 105300.

Special order price / Stock price = 1.05 (rounded).

So, you’ll earn an extra 5% if you accrue a special order compared to just selling your stock. On a 500000 order that would be an extra 25000.

It’s completely up to you if you think it’s worth waiting for a particular stock to accumulate up.

I generally do it if it’s just a couple of units left or if I already have it ready. Of course what ever you sell as a Special order will be reduced from your stock.
