Cyberpunk 2077 – How to Break the Components Economy of the Game

This guide will let you never worry again about crafting components, at least, if you have invested some points in it.

Warning

This method relies on rng, perks and your level, I don’t know the specifics, I don’t know if your level/street cred or your crafting level affects this, but I’m gonna base this off as being affected by your crafting level hence why you should save before trying.

Second and this one can help you not break your game. I am not joking.

Do not abuse this method, currently, if your save goes over 8mb, it has high chances to become corrupt and we need to wait on a fix by cdpr for that, nothing we can do.

To check your save file size just press Windows + R then paste this : %userprofile%\Saved Games\CD Projekt Red\Cyberpunk 2077

It will lead you to your save folder, just check the manual save with the highest number if you do a lot of saves like me and check it’s not near 8000Kb.

The Perks

First, you’re gonna want some basic crafting perks, like Mechanic, Workshop and Cost Optimization.

How to Make It Work

Second, the better crafting level you have, the better this will work, because i’m pretty sure it affects rng.

So… how does it work?

It’s very simple, you just need a mod craft recipe like this one.

All mods cost the same amount of materials to craft, don’t bother with a specific mod.

Next you’re gonna make a safety save just in case and craft a lot of this said mod and let the technology do it’s work and there you have it.

As you can see, i’ve just spent 4 common and 1 uncommon crafting components and got every component back while getting some epic and rare components.

And do not worry, even the worst results will give you back your components if you’ve got the right perks.

Explanation

Seems like when you craft an item, it has a chance to get upgraded by what i think being your crafting level, but since epic items gives epic components and they don’t have a specific crafting source, that’s why we got that.

Why do it?

Upgrading system is a bit stupid, you level the item one level by one instead of bringing it to your level making you waste a lot of resources, and given the fact you can’t craft iconic weapons… yeah.

Follow description instructions to make crafting instant, will help you a lot, but remember the warning earlier.
