Don’t Be Afraid to Explore: Journey to the savage planet does an excellent job laying waypoints to point you in the right direction during your journey, but don’t be afraid to explore! If you ever get lost or want to get back to focusing on your mission, just click the right stick or press Z to search the surrounding areas and bring up your waypoint!
Use Teleporters to your Advantage: As you progress through the game you will find more and more teleporters for the Alien Architecture secondary mission. This will allow you to easy access the Javelin from most places on AR-Y26, giving you easy access to upgrades.
Scan Everything You Can: You helmet has a scanner built in you can use to scan the Wildlife on AR-Y26 to learn more about them. As you scan them, info about them will be added to you Kindex for you to read!
Don’t Forget to Dodge: It is easy between the conflicts on AR-Y26 to forget you have a dodge button for those extra dangerous situations. This is especially useful against Jellywafts and Pikemanders. Use the dodge as a last resort against aggressive wildlife. The dodge can be used to avoid most attacks.
Interact with Wildlife: Whether its shooting them with your nomad pistol or feeding them so they poop resources, interacting with wildlife is essential to your success on AR-Y26 as they can provide valuable resources to craft upgrades.
