How to Get Keep Your Friends Close Achievement if You Killed Kelvin / Virginia and See Them for The Last Time

This method won’t revive Kelvin or Virginia. You just getting the archievement and a chance to see them in the ending.

Navigate to the following directory:

Windows:

• “%AppData%/LocalLow/Endnight/SonsOfTheForest/Saves/yousteamid/Singleplayer/%yoursaveid%/”

Linux:

• /home/%username%/.local/share/Steam/steamapps/compatdata/1326470/pfx/drive_c/users/steamuser/AppData/LocalLow/Endnight/SonsOfTheForest/Saves/%yousteamid%/SinglePlayer/%yoursaveid%/

Find the file named “GameStateSaveData.json” and open it with text editor.

Find the lines that say “IsRobbyDead” and “IsVirginiaDead” and change the values after the lines from “true” to “false“.

Save the file and close the text editor. Launch the game and load your saved game.

After you finished story you will see both NPCs in the final cutscene and get the archievement.
