How to Get Your Pals to Actually Work at an Assigned Workstation!
We’ve all had this experience. There are 7 crafting stations all placed next to each other and for the love of god I cannot get my wixen to make the 500 bullet order that I have at the weapon workbench. It gets confused because there is no work to be done by the palsphere station (for now) and goes to the opposite side of the map to transport some berries when I have a monkey that can do that already.
Turns out I’ve been doing it wrong the whole time. You’re tempted to throw your pal where your cursor is pointed at because the workstation you want is highlighted in blue text. However that highlight is completely irrelevant because your pal gets assigned where they land, not where you point your cursor.
Here’s my advice, when you go to pick up your pal and try to assign them the workstation, try thinking of them as basketballs. It’s actually better to take a step back and do a Lebron James dunk onto that work station than to stand right on top of it and then throw the pals.
