Lost Ark – Your Estate / Housing Guide

You and Your Estate (NPC’s, Management, Hotbar)

After extinguishing the evil within Luttera and placing Prince Thilian onto the throne making him king, you unlock a quest to receive your own estate/stronghold.

You will find a golden quest outside the palace, this is given by the Royal Receptionist. Here you will receive the song Hearth and Home. (Select f2 to find your selection of songs) Once accepting the quest from here you’ll receive your estate becoming a Lord/Lady.

You can ride a mount around your estate by hitting Alt+V.

During this time you’ll run through a tutorial on how to do research, create items in your lab, and how to dispatch your personal ships. By the time you completely finish your stronghold will be at Lvl 5, with new recipes that can be researched in your lab. Make sure you quickly collect the materials to upgrade your Buildings such as your Crafting Workshop and Manor’s Level.

That way once your Crafting Workshop has reached lvl 2, you can start to craft Major Hp Potions.

This costs 15 gold pieces for 3 to be crafted.

Let’s go through the basics… In case you don’t know how to return to your home. Hit F2 on your keyboard and select the song called Song of the Blessed Land (Remember this might change once NA/EU launches)

When you first arrive at your estate you’ll land on the docks and go through a small screen to introduce you to the new UI. Up in the top left corner, there is an edit pencil just below your calendar bar, with your mailbox and ingame currency. Here you can change the name of your Isle to whatever you wish.

NPC’s Around Your Estate

Let’s talk about the platform leading up to your estate. Here you will find four NPCs standing around the area, let’s go over quickly what each of them does.

Most important NPC on this platform is the Traveling merchant who rotates out every 24hrs. Located beneath the white tent. Each traveling merchant brings different things, you will see resurrection feathers, sailors, ship designs, and more.

You  have a Resource Exchanger sitting by the stairs when you first arrive.  Here you can exchange gathering Mats for others you might need.

Next up is the Orders Exchange NPC. While leveling up your estate you will receive different seals or orders that you can exchange for various things that you can use to help assist you in crafting on your island.

Not only can you get these Orders from leveling up, but you can also receive them from sending your ship and crew out at your naval headquarters.

There are three different orders. First Order, Hunters Order, which are your Golden Seals.

The Second Order is called Soldier Orders, the bronze looking seal. These seals give you tool boxes to help you craft cosmetics around your estate that assist in leveling up.

The last order is called Scouter Orders. These Green seals assist you in obtaining more Hunter and Soldier Orders. Plus you can buy a blue crystal called a Sparkling Stone that helps you craft a blue powder for changing your tripods…

The last NPC in this area is called the Recipe Exchange. Here you can use the Orders to purchase Recipes that you can learn to craft new items. She has three sections Life, Food, and Estate.

Good things here, especially for life skilling!!!

On your estate you can find common NPCs that you find in any city like, Repair, Mail, Auction House, Storage Keeper, and even a Fashion Designer. Now let’s talk about the not so common NPCs that you don’t see besides at your estate.

First up is Kaelin who is an Object Exchanger. I know it makes me think of a hoarder that has everything on tap. Kaelin has three different categories of items that can be placed around your estate, Furniture, Buildings, and Food. All by using your Seals for payment.

Up next and most importantly in my eyes is Dolores, she crafts items that you learn through recipes and leveling your workshop. This lovely NPC allows you to craft Potions, health potions, destruction bombs, all those amazing items you get through log in rewards, she is able to craft. Plus eventually, she can craft the arctius crystals you will need later down the line. She can also craft Vessel parts, and much, much more.

Next NPC on the block is Ostun and the Order board. This NPC is in charge of your Naval Assignments. He gives you quests to do to assist in gaining xp to level your estate. Plus you can send out a team of sailors and one pet on a boat of your choice to complete a mission to gain rewards.

The next NPC can be found in the training area; her name is Master Atzilla. Once reaching Level 53 and completing a quest called __ you will be able to train one character that has reached level 50 to gain xp beneath your highest leveled character.

There will be a fork in the road while heading towards your estate if you stay on path, the cobblestone path and a dirt path will connect. Standing next to a boulder is a very tiny NPC named Felicia. This NPC gives you quests from time to time, depending on your estate level.

Last but not least is Adelle, she stands by the gate of your estate and is basically in charge of everything around when your character isn’t present. She will give you daily quests to complete to help assist in leveling your estate.
