Lost Ark – Scrapper Guide: Leveling Breakdown

Leveling Build Guide

Start by allocating the mobility tripods on Charging Blow and Dragon Advent when the skill points become available.

Once you unlock Death Rattle at level 14, unallocate all skill points and level Death Rattle to 7, taking tripod 1 in the first row and tripod 2 in the second row. This becomes your main damage skill for a while so try and group mobs up to kill them with Death Rattle.

Once you level up again, you can replace the points into your mobility skills for the mobility tripods but always prioritize skill points in damage skills.

You don’t want to level Death Rattle past level 7 immediately.

At level 16 you unlock Earthquake Chain. Prioritize putting points into this for the time being. Take tripod 2 in the first row for burn damage when you can put 4 points into it. This is the first of three skills that you are going to prioritize leveling to 10.

At level 18 you should have both Death Rattle and Earthquake Chain at level 7. Take tripod 3 in the second row for the biggest damage increase.

At level 20 you unlock Chain Destruction Fist, immediately put 4 points into this, taking tripod 3 in the first row for the most damage. This is the second of three skills that you are going to prioritize leveling to 10.

At level 22 you can have 3 skills at level 7, take tripod 2 in the second row for burn damage. You should have Chain Destruction Fist, Death Rattle, and Earthquake Chain at level 7.

At level 28, you unlock True Rising Fist. This is the third skill that you are going to prioritize leveling to 10.

Focus on getting Chain Destruction Fist, Earthquake Chain, and True Rising Fist to level 10 ASAP. I prefer to do so in the order listed here but it’s up to preference. I know Choi prefers to max Earthquake Chain first instead of Chain Destruction Fist.

The level 10 setups for the 3 skills should be:

  • 3-2-1 for Chain Destruction Fist
  • 2-3-2 for Earthquake Chain
  • 2-3-2 for True Rising Fist, but I honestly like 1-3-2 if you can get used to the additional cast.

Once these skills are level 10, you can finish putting the remaining points into Death Rattle and take tripod 1 in the third row when you do.

At this point, you should have:

  • 3-2-1 for Chain Destruction Fist
  • 2-3-2 for Earthquake Chain
  • 2-3-2 for True Rising Fist, but I honestly like 1-3-2 if you can get used to the additional cast.
  • 1-2-1 for Death Rattle
  • 2-x-x for Charging Blow
  • 1-x-x for Dragon Advent

By this point you can put points into the skeleton skill trees as the skills you just invested in should carry you through the leveling process. I prefer putting points into Roundup Sweep or Dragon Advent for additional damage but putting points into utility skills like Fierce Tiger Strike and Crushing Smite should be fine if you want to generate more Shock.

If you’re planning on playing the Taijutsu variant, respec to the Taijutsu skill tree once you’ve acquired your Taijutsu seal books.

Choi also suggests that his “PEPEGA” fresh build plays similarly to Taijutsu, so you can respec to that and see how it feels before you respec into Taijutsu.
