Quick Meta

Settings

Display-> small foliage: At least have this on “performance”. If you turn this setting fully off then the ores will not show and you will only see textures which makes mined materials very difficult to distinguish from regular floor and walls.

Traits

(In order from most to least mandatory)

• Double jump – use it to run away, evade damage or bypass terrain/puzzles. Use it all the time.
• Water Aura & Waters of life – OP AF passive heal.
• Earth Aura – especially if you’re playing with others who are willing to spec into it
• Chain hit & Mass destruction – Only really important after you get acid bite

Gear

• Armor: Magic helmet and gloves for magic damage. Tank/heavy chest, legs, and boots.
• Weapon: Staff using Eternal Fireball & Eternal Acid Bite.
• Rings: Ring Of Rapacity x 2 – Infinite Mana. You can find a set spawn on a corpse in willow crush under some rubble by a structure on the north side of the town close to the bridge.
• Foods: Int and Con

Movement

Sprint Jumping – Hold sprint and use jump (do not double jump). It maintains momentum and basically costs no stamina to maintain full speed. Best tip to practice jump timing is to use the sound cue of your feet hitting the ground.
