To unlock your pre-order bonus items in Dragon’s Dogma 2, the ring of assurance and the superior weapon quartet, follow these steps:

1. Go through the opening steps of the first quest, Tale’s Beginning.
2. During the third step, head to Melve after interacting with the first riftstone.
3. Before reaching Melve, enter the nearby blue tent with a picture of a hearth in front – the borderwatch lounge.
4. The innkeeper allows you to sleep for free, so take advantage of this opportunity.
5. After resting, talk to the innkeeper again; you should receive a message stating you can collect your items at any inn by speaking with the keep.
