Introduction
If you’re looking to play Venetica on your Steam Deck, you can rest easy knowing that for the most part it works without any tweaks to the in-game settings or Proton.
The only setting that needs to be changed is the resolution, which can be problematic due to a small bug in menu navigation.
A workaround has been included in this guide to make sure it doesn’t impact your Steam Deck playing experience.
Fixing the Resolution
While straightforward, a weird quirk in the controls may cause issues for saving the resolution.
- Step 1: Launch the game, go into Settings, then Display.
- Step 2: Change Video Resolution to 1280×800 and confirm changes by pressing A twice.
- Step 3: Press the Steam button and close the game (Do not press the B button while in the menu, as this will reset the resolution to the default).
You should now be able to play the game at the Steam Deck’s native resolution.
