When Desktop loaded open the Discover, find ProtonUp-Qt and install it. After installation launch the ProtonUp-Qt and add new version of Proton is “Proton-6.5-GE-2”. When it loaded and added to list of ProtonUp-Qt you can go back to Steam mode.

Now you can run the game and get 2-3x more FPS.

Open Settings > Video in the game menu.

Open Steam Deck settings “•••” at the ride side of Deck.

  3. Lock FPS and refresh rate as 45 (FPS/Hz) – it’s good enough for racing games, imho

  5. Enable TDP limit to 6
  6. Scaling is FSR, sharp 2

With these settings you can get up to 4 hours.
