Atelier Ryza 3: Alchemist of the End & the Secret Key – How to Play on Steam Deck without Problems (Sync Fix)

So, the past few Atelier games have benefited from this fix when playing on Steam Deck or Linux. It’s really easy to install.

It’s created by one of the people who work for Valve–this guy made DXVK, which the Steam Deck and Proton relies upon for games to even work at all.

With that out of the way, all you need to do is download the atfix.zip from the link above while in Desktop mode. Unzip it, and inside there will be a .dll file. Open Steam in desktop mode, click on Atelier Ryza 3, click the settings gear > properties > local files > browse to open the game’s directory. Put the .dll file in the directory. You’re done!

With this fix, the game will run so much better. Without it, you’ll struggle to get decent performance.
