Shapez 2 – Early Game 1-Belt Tileable MAM

Early Game 1-Belt Tileable MAM Blueprint

By Lysine.

I want to challenge myself to design the most modular and compact MAM in the early game.

Note: For an example, you can find another compact MAM here.

There are still a lot of improvements to be made once I unlock the color mixing milestone (I’ve already reserved some empty space for that), but I’m already pretty happy with how easy it is to use.

  • Supports pins by stacking.
  • Supports 4-layer shapes.
  • Outputs 1 belt at full speed.
  • Consists only of a tileable main module and a super simple 1-belt smart stacker.
  • MAM modules share resources within each column/row.
  • Supports primary colors only, and no crystals.

How to Use:

  • Repeat the main module in a 4×4 grid, where each column handles one corner and each row handles one layer.
  • Input shapes from the top. Pins have to be at layer 0, but the order of other shapes doesn’t matter.
  • Input colors from the left. Red at layer 0, green at layer 1, blue at layer 2.
  • Put 3 smart stackers on the right to assemble the layers.
  • Set the shape in the top-left module. It will propagate to all other modules automatically.

My first game was Naughty Dog’s Crash Bandicoot (PlayStation) back in 1996. And since then gaming has been my main hobby. I turned my passion for gaming into a job by starting my first geek blog in 2009. When I’m not working on the site, I play mostly on my PlayStation. But I also love outdoor activities and especially skiing.
