In Stars And Time – Any % Speedrun Guide

A full any % speedrunning guide. Spoilers for the entire game.

Introduction

  • Each bullet point in the guide indicates a separate loop.
  • Throughout the guide, it’ll say “Loop to: [location].” Only choose the option to loop there with the doors unlocked if the guide specifies “(unlocked)”. If it’s not specified, loop there with the doors locked.
  • When you go through the House, do the most optimal route (going for the keys and nothing else) unless otherwise specified.
  • If you don’t have enough Memory of Skirmishes to loop forward, just go through the House manually until you have enough. (More on this point later).
  • Memory of Sadnesses is a godsend, but you need a ton of Memory of Skirmishes, so I’d recommend keeping Memory of Defeat equipped for most of the run.
  • I recommend picking up the paper mache gloves for fighting the King, but it isn’t required.
  • Turn on instant text speed.
  • Don’t eat pineapples.

My first game was Naughty Dog’s Crash Bandicoot (PlayStation) back in 1996. And since then gaming has been my main hobby. I turned my passion for gaming into a job by starting my first geek blog in 2009. When I’m not working on the site, I play mostly on my PlayStation. But I also love outdoor activities and especially skiing.
