First of all, in order to unlock 6th hero slot, we need to unlock Augmentation Phase 3.

Augmentation Phase 0->1:

• 1×10 Atk&Def Upgrade = 20 Barrage Crystal
• 1×10 HP&Rec Upgrade = 20 Defense Crystal

Augmentation Phase 1->2:

• 5×10 Atk&Def Upgrade = 100 Barrage Crystal
• 5×10 HP&Rec Upgrade = 100 Defense Crystal

Augmentation Phase 2->3:

• 5×10 Atk&Def Upgrade = 100 Barrage Crystal
• 5×10 HP&Rec Upgrade = 100 Defense Crystal

So, total we need 220 Barrage & 220 Defense crystal.

Average Barrage & Defense Crystal we get from crafting is:

• 0.2308×1 + 0.3077×2 + 0.2692×3 + 0.1346×4 + 0.0577×5 = 2.4807

Total Boost Crystal we need on Average to unlock Augmentation 3 is:

• 220 / 2.4807 = ~88.684
• 440 / 2.4807 = ~177.369

On average, we need ~178 Boost crystal to unlock 6th slot, some people might need lower than that, some might need more.
