MetaWare High School – All Endings Guide

MetaWare High School - All Endings Guide
MetaWare High School - All Endings Guide

A guide for those struggling with the in-game hint system and also those who want to become relatively omniscient.

All Endings

Introduction

The goal of this guide is to give you a concise method for reaching any particular ending you may be struggling to achieve. If you would like to avoid spoilers, please do not proceed.

Keep in mind the in-game hints do not display all of the dialogue that is associated with a particular route, which is what can make them slightly confusing.

If you would still like to get some outsider help, then read on!

Ending 1 – Mochi

For this ending you just have to reply to any required input with the most neutral/normal responses.

Choices that matter:

  • Say Hello!
  • Say I agree too. when they talk about Isadora’s death.
  • Say Sure. to eating mochi.

And that’s basically it. Pretty simple.

Ending 2 – Something Else

This is a very similar route to the last ending, however there is a key difference.

Choices that matter:

  • Say Hello!
  • Say I agree too.
  • Say No thanks.

Ending 3 – Knowledge

This route is pretty specific with the choices you make, so deviations may ruin it. Here’s the path I recommend.

Choices that matter:

  • Say Hello!
  • Say None of you are going to die…
  • Say Yeah, that’s what I’m saying.
  • Say Yes!
  • Say Yep!

You’re now locked in to the route.

Ending 4 – Omniscient

I promised you’d get to become omniscient. This is an interesting deviation of the Knowledge route…

Choices that matter:

  • Say Hello!
  • Say None of you are going to die…
  • Say Uh, no?
  • Say Yes.

Respond to Hope by typing the word dog.

  • Say Okay, sure.

Ending 5 – Anger

…and this one is a deviation of the Omniscient route.

Choices that matter:

  • Say Hello!
  • Say None of you are going to die…
  • Say Uh, no?
  • Say Yes.

Respond to Hope by typing the word dog

  • Say No thanks.

Ending 6 – The Awkward One

This route and a few others will require you to be a jerk.

Choices that matter:

  • Say Screw you!

Choose every nonsense option.

  • Say All of you are cute as hell!
  • Say No.

Ending 7 – Chrissy

This one’s gonna be a little more work than some of the others, but it starts off like the Awkward route.

Choices that matter:

  • Say Screw you!

Choose every nonsense option.

  • Say All of you are cute as hell!
  • Say Yes.
  • Say I’m sorry.
  • Say I’m the one Chris is upset with…
  • Say Yes.
  • Say I’m sure.
  • Say Yes.

Ending 8 – Hope

This one requires you choose a specific gender, which is what makes it difficult to find.

Choices that matter:

  • Say Hello!

Choose your pronouns as she/her

Choose Hope

  • Say I agree too.
  • Say Sure.

Ending 9 – Dance

The objectively best route.

  • Say Screw you!
  • Say You’re never going to know who I am!
  • Say Whatever gibberish comes next lol.

Choose to Dance!

Keep on dancing more and more vigorously. Say nothing else. Commune with the characters through music.

Ending 10 – Goodbye!

I saved the most logical for last. This one only requires a single choice…

  • Say Goodbye!

Congratulations!

You’re finished. Almost. Keep playing for your reward for persevering through all 10 endings.

Your choices from now on are still important. If life has you down, just remember that you matter, and your reality is not meaningless. You’ve got this.
