Bloodlines 2 takes players to the dark underworld of Seattle, where vampires fight for survival and dominance. As an Elder vampire, players will encounter compelling characters, maneuver complex political relationships, stalk the city streets searching for loot, and engage in intense combat while balancing the need for blood. During the game, players must always be aware of their surroundings; otherwise, they risk violating the Masquerade – the absolute law of secrecy that vampire society keeps hidden from humanity.

No, this is an action RPG, meaning there are elements of both action playstyle and role-playing playstyles, depending on how you want to play the game.

Wasn’t Bloodlines 2 announced/released/delayed years ago?
The game was announced in 2019 as being developed by Hardsuit Labs. Since then, the game has been delayed and then switched developers to The Chinese Room. The game has undergone some changes that will be revealed during the upcoming release.
What are some of those changes?
In the previous version of Bloodlines 2, the playable character started as a thin-blood (a weak version of a Vampire). The new narrative lets the player explore Seattle as an Elder (a strong Vampire) who has been in torpor for an unknown time. TCR is making their own game, but some assets and characters from the HSL version of the game have been re-used.
Is the TTRPG show “Vein Pursuit” still relevant to the story?
While not directly related to the story, nothing in Vein Pursuit contradicts the story of Bloodlines 2.
