How will Disney Dreamlight Valley Arcade Edition be different from buying Disney Dreamlight Valley on the Mac App Store or other platforms?
Disney Dreamlight Valley Arcade Edition is a dedicated game experience that will include the base game alongside our newly announced expansion, Disney Dreamlight Valley: A Rift in Time. This version, exclusive to Apple Arcade, will get you all the latest story updates without seasonal Star Paths or the Premium Shop. In addition, Apple Arcade players can look forward to updated UI that better supports touch screen play.
Note: The Apple Arcade version of Disney Dreamlight Valley – even when played on Mac – is considered a separate version of the game to the one that can be purchased on the Mac App Store.
I am trying to purchase the Apple Arcade version of the game and it is telling me that my device is not compatible.

Disney Dreamlight Valley Arcade Edition is not supported on iPhone X, iPhone XR, iPhone SE (2020), Apple iPad mini (2019), Apple iPad Air (2019), Apple iPad 10.2 (2020), Apple iPad 10.2 (2021), Apple TV 4k 1st Gen, Apple TV 4k 2nd Gen, Apple TV HD, Apple TV 1st Gen, Apple TV 2nd Gen, Apple TV 3rd Gen, or Intel-based Mac devices.
Does Disney Dreamlight Valley Arcade Edition have cross-save?
Apple Arcade subscribers can carry their game progress over to any of their Apple devices within the Apple Arcade ecosystem – iPhone, iPad, Apple TV, and Mac – via cross-save. This is tied to the player’s Apple Account. This version of the game does not support cross-save with platforms outside of the Apple Arcade ecosystem.
Does Disney Dreamlight Valley Arcade Edition allow for cross-play with other platforms?
Yes, Apple Arcade subscribers can visit the Valleys of friends who play on other platforms and vice versa. Cross-play is supported across Apple Arcade platforms, PC, Mac, and console platforms, except on PlayStation consoles.
Will Disney Dreamlight Valley Arcade Edition continue to receive regular content updates?
Yes! Just like its PC, Mac and console counterparts, Apple Arcade subscribers will continue to receive regular content updates that bring new characters, Realms, features, and more to the game.
