Elite Dangerous – Solution: Steam Deck Language Change Problem

Solution that I have been able to put the game in my language and tested in other languages.

How to Fix Language Change Problem

Solution Steam Deck Language

Go to System Setting, Input device, keyboard, In the Layouts tab, you have to have Switching Policy in Global, have Configure Layouts activated, add your language by clicking +ADD and delete the default language (provided that bring it).

In my case, for example, being Spanish, I chose the one that says only Spanish, so I only have MAP: ES, Layout: Spanish, Variant: it has nothing, Label: the flag of my country appears, Shortcut: it has nothing.

Parameters

Once the above is done, you go to the parameters of your game and put it as I put it:

  • /edo /autoquit /autorun

With this it worked for me the first time, I already have it on the Steam Deck in my language.
