Wartales – Best Trading Route / Way to Make Money

This is the best way to make tons of money with little effort.

Stage 1 – Preparation Face

What you need to have before you can start to make tons of money:

  • Trading Post in Cortia
  • Trading Post in Marheim
  • Minimal 5000 gold in the bank
  • Minimal 4 horses

Once you have acquired that you will garrison all your companions at the Trading Posts except for your cook. You keep your cook as only member in your party alongside your horses.

Extra to Optimize:

Have your cook have the volunteer trait.

Stage 2 – Buying Face

Travel to Cortia:

  • Buy all the goods. Pelts, Gems and Spices
  • Store the goods in your Trading Post chest
  • Fast travel to Marheim by using the Trading Post
  • Buy all the goods. Scrolls, Silver and Spices
  • Store the goods in your Trading Post chest
  • Fast travel to Cortia by using the Trading Post

Repeat and repeat till you are almost out of money.

Then once you are almost out of money, take all the goods from the Trading Post chest and manually run to Stromkapp to sell the Spices and continue to Cortia/Marheim to sell the other two trade goods.

Once you arrived and sold your remaining goods, take the trade goods from that trading post chest and travel to Stromkapp again to sell the Spices and continue to Cortia/Marheim to sell the other two trade goods.

Repeat this whole process to get tons of money. Almost doubling your money each time.

Optimization:

Foods:

  • Apple Pancake – 30% Less fatigue
  • Cabbage Perch – 10% Increased run speed
  • Seed Sausage – 10% Increased trade sell prices

Weight:

You can pick up a lot of your camp buildings and store them in your Trading Post chest. Along side almost everything in your inventory except for some food you need for the traveling.

Extra

Besides this Cortia – (Stromkapp) – Marheim route you can also include Garussa. I left it out because it is a dangerous area to begin with. But for strong mercs it is def something to consider. Since due to the fast traveling between Cortia and Marheim, the merchants dont always refresh their Trade Goods in time fully to a stack of 5. Mostly to 3 or 4. This is not optimal.

Therefor once I had some cash and was stronger I included Garussa. Same concept. Just different selling locations:

  • Fast travel to Cortia
  • Buy all the goods and store them in the Trading Post chest
  • Fast travel to Marheim
  • Buy all the goods and store them in the Trading Post chest
  • Fast travel to Garussa
  • Buy all the goods and store them in the Trading Post chest
  • Fast travel to Cortia

Repeat and repeat till your are almost out of money and start your selling runs! Those can be in any order, just sell all your goods at the following locations and don’t forget the optimization from stage 2.

  • At Cortia, you sell all your Amber, Scrolls and Silver.
  • At Stromkapp, when you walk past it to Cortia or Marheim, you sell all your Spices.
  • At Marheim, you sell all your Pelts.
  • At Garussa you sell all your Gems.
