V Rising – Castle Heart Perks & Upgrade Requirements (Gloomrot)

Intro

This short guide will explain the requirements for upgrading your castle heart by level, as well as the perks you obtain for doing so.

Claiming Land

You will automatically start with a Tier 1 castle just simply placing a heart on unclaimed land. To do this, walk up to any land with a white boarder and drop your castle heart by pressing “B”.

A castle heart can then be upgraded in the future as you level and obtain materials by pressing the “Upgrade Castle Heart” button in your castle heart’s menu.

Tier 1: Castle Heart

To drop a Tier 1 Castle Heart it will require:

  • Stone
  • Blood

The perks of a Tier 1 Castle Heart include:

  • 40 Floor Tiles
  • 4 Servant Coffins
  • 2 Castle Blood Power Slots

Tier 2: Castle Heart

A Tier 2 Castle Heart will require:

  • 12 Copper Ingot
  • 12 Leather

The perks of a Tier 2 Castle Heart include:

  • 120 Floor Tiles
  • 5 Servant Coffins
  • 4 Castle Blood Power Slots

Tier 3: Castle Heart

A Tier 3 Castle Heart will require:

  • 24 Glass
  • 8 Reinforced Plank
  • 1 Greater Blood Essence

The perks of a Tier 3 Castle Heart include:

  • 180 Floor Tiles
  • 6 Servant Coffins
  • 6 Castle Blood Power Slots

Tier 4: Castle Heart

A Tier 4 Castle Heart will require:

  • 12 Radium Alloy
  • 1 Primal Blood Essence

The perks of a Tier 4 Castle Heart include:

  • 260 Floor Tiles
  • 7 Servant Coffins
  • 8 Castle Blood Power Slots

Tier 5: Castle Heart

A Tier 5 Castle Heart will require:

  • 12 Dark Silver Ingot
  • 4 Power Core
  • 1 Primal Blood Essence

The perks of a Tier 5 Castle Heart include:

  • 420 Floor Tiles
  • 8 Servant Coffins
  • 10 Castle Blood Power Slots
