How to Fix Crashing

Hey guys, if one of you managed to get this game before it got delisted in May 2021 due to expired licensing. (like I did) or perhaps you bought the PC key somewhere.

And if you’re experiencing crashes on startup. Here’s what you need to know.

Well, the thing is, this game runs on the Unreal Engine 4.21 which is apparently known to crash on Intel 10th Gen CPUs and newer. I tried to play this game last night, but it kept crashing on launch.

The next morning, I managed to get it to work by doing one of these steps I found on some MWO: Forums page.

1. Go to “Control Panel”
2. Go to “System and Security”
3. Go to “System”
4. Go to “Advanced system settings”
5. Go to “Environment Variables…”
6. Under “System variables” press “New…”
7. Enter OPENSSL_ia32cap as the Variable name:
8. Enter ~0x20000000 as the Variable value:
9. Press “OK”
10. Restart your computer.
