The Planet Crafter – Guide to ORE

ORE Guide

Iridium Ore

Iridium is one of the components of Explosive Powder, a mid-to-late game Crafting resource. More importantly, it is also used to make Iridium Rods, an important item for building higher-tier Heating machines for Terra-forming. Iridium is also needed for Ore Extractors — a highly useful Building that lets you automate collecting ore.

You can get more Iridium from Asteroids falling onto the planet once you’ve unlocked the Launch Platform and launched the appropriate rocket. However, you can get an infinite supply with the right kind of Ore Extractor in the proper location, saving you from having to rely on the randomness of falling rocks from the sky

Where to Find Iridium

Here are all the places you can find Iridium that we know of. Do note that this list does not include Storage Chests that you can find in the world; Furthermore, some locations may be sealed off by Ice Caves.

Uranium Ore

Uranium is a well utilized crafting Recipe , but the biggest thing Uranium is good for is making Uranium Rods. Uranium rods will power Nuclear Reactor and will power all of the buildings at a more efficient rate

Uranium Is obtained by falling asteroids once you have unlocked “The Launch Platform” You have to then use the crafting menu to Craft The Launch Platform after you manage to that you can then launch rockets into space that will allow you to do three different things.

Alternatively you can also use the ORE Extractor in just the right spots to obtain the full benefit and do this as soon as you unlock the first Nuclear Generator!!! Try to begin automation early in game.

Zeolite – Crystal Power

Are you wondering what is this magnificent crystal that glows white and how to get Zeolite? There is a mystery to this incredibly rare resource / but you have to unlock it first. Lets dive deep into the abyss that is a wonderful journey.

What is Zeolite Used For?

Zeolite is used for Crafting a handful of late-game items. Critically, it is the rarest component of the Nuclear Fusion Generator, the best Power generation unit in the game. It’s also used for the DNA Manipulator, a machine that is necessary for creating Tree Seeds and vastly speeding up the process of growing your Biomass. You can not craft Zeolite the only way to get it is through progressing to the “Flora” Stage of Terraforming.

Here’s an important thing also to keep in mind Zeolite in The Planet Crafter does not respawn so be careful how you spend it!

Osmium

Osmium is used for alot of things and is typically seen a little further towards middle game u can also use the Ore Extractor to get it when placed at the right location.
