Steps to Steel

Have a furnace (no pipes required), and the correct amount of ore for 200 Steel (150 iron & 50 coal) and 10 Volitite & 5 Oxite ice’s.

1. Use Alt+drag to insert Oxite ice & push Activate (Red button) until Furnace top opens.
2. Use Alt+drag to insert Volitite ice & push Activate (Red button) until Furnace ignites.
3. Now the Furnace is ready to smelt Steel.
4. Add your 3 stacks of Iron, 150 total (have to wait between each stack for it to melt).
5. Once the 150 iron is melted add the stack of 50 Coal.
6. Wait until the Activate Button turns Green.
7. Pull the eject lever on furnace to get your Steel.Yay Steel
8. Close eject lever after Steel is ejected.
9. If you have another batch of 150 Iron & 50 Coal, repeat steps 4 – 7, if not continue with step 10.

Bonus Tip

10. Leave eject lever open.
11. Put any other ore in (Iron, Gold, Copper etc)
12. They don’t need to be full stacks as Furnace will automatically eject them when smelted.
13. Continue adding any ore’s you have until they stop being smelted and come out as ore not ingots.
