Old Market Simulator – Quick Guide to Livestock

Barn Guide

Purchase an animal

Visit the Animal Market, and purchase an animal like a cow, goat, etc.

Place the animal in the Barn

Once purchased, place the animal on the Barn floor.

Feed Your Animal Daily

Purchase a grain bucket from the Animal Market. To feed your animals, hold the bucket and click the left mouse button (LMB) while looking at their trough. This needs to be done every day. If you skip a day, your animals won’t grow or produce goods.

Harvest their goods or butcher them

Once your animals are fully grown, they will begin to produce goods like milk or eggs, as long as they are fed daily. After their production interval has passed, you will see a shiny icon indicating that they are ready to give their goods. Press [E] to collect these items.

You also have the option to butcher fully grown animals, such as cows or goats, to obtain meat. However, this will permanently kill the animal, and they will no longer produce any goods.

My first game was Naughty Dog’s Crash Bandicoot (PlayStation) back in 1996. And since then gaming has been my main hobby. I turned my passion for gaming into a job by starting my first geek blog in 2009. When I’m not working on the site, I play mostly on my PlayStation. But I also love outdoor activities and especially skiing.
