Ву Bad The Solguy.
Vassago:
Arsenal 1 is somewhat zoner somewhat setplayer with a gun and bombs. Arsenal 2 is balls to the walls rushdown with a shield to get in and an install that makes him faster.
Mazinger Z:
Has good projectiles, good buttons for neutral and stuffing air approaches. A1 leans more into zoning giving him rockets. A2 is a combo character that gets free EX moves.

Kaguya:
Rushdown with the most typical DP ever, some big rekka moves. A1 comes with a short range projectile and its own fire mechanic. A2 has more dedicated movement options and buttons.
Great Mazinger:
I’d say he’s the most shoto out of all even though he has 2 charge moves, but he also has literally a tatsu. A1 gives him a projectile that’s kinda fucked up and enhances your super. A2 gives him a returning projectile that’s also fucked up and a command grab.

Qing Long:
Super rushdown kung fu character, has a double jump. A1 comes with sick defensive options in the form of a stance, various command grabs, an armored stance, and a straightforward DP. A2 is the stick in your face guy with a divekick, a command dash and some more classic parries.
Boss Borot:
The wacko character defined by his arsenals. A1 is focused on him being spinny and plays around a dizzy bar. A2 is an item toss character.

Susanoo:
Big buttons damage man, somewhat slow. A1 has a rekka resource. A2 got some cool projectiles that are good at contesting space.
Dancouga:
The archetypal grappler, does grappler stuff. A1 comes with a sword stance that gives him big ass fuck you buttons. A2 comes with “limited” fuck you projectiles.
Mephisto:
A1 has some really good projectiles in the form of a lingering fireball and a firestorm you can do while jumping, gets ammo by beating people up with his sword. A2 is the damage form, no projectiles of note but has fire attacks that really pile on the damage during combos.
Wu Shuang:
Big pokey normals, really good at controlling space from what I can see. A2 has zoning in the form of lightning. A1 also has a projectile but I dunno how to define it in a unique manner; he just shoots a gun.
Getter Robot:
It’s 3 dudes in 1 you can freely switch between them and they all have their own movement and stuff. Getter 1 is the typical balanced character with the biggest damage potential and he’s got an air dash. Getter 2 is the speedy dude with a run, a command dash on the ground and various forms of screen control. Getter 3 is a grappler that can move while attacking and has some pretty good long travelling projectiles.

Nero:
Standard moveset by herself, has a spin kick that kind of acts as a double jump. A1 is a brainblaster that lets you copy every grounded move of whoever you’re up against, granted they’re not tied to their own unique resource. A2 has little goons you can summon that do different attacks giving you hella advantage and setplay, and they take a while to recharge once used.
