FATAL FRAME / PROJECT ZERO: Mask of the Lunar Eclipse – How to Turn Off Film Grain

This is a quick guide on how to turn off noise in the FATAL FRAME / PROJECT ZERO: Mask of the Lunar Eclipse game, in just a few steps.

Steps

1. Download Steamless then Unpack FATAL_FRAME_MOL.exe there’ll be
FATAL_FRAME_MOL.exe.unpack and FATAL_FRAME_MOL.exe.unpack.bak

2. Use HxD Editor edit .exe file (don’t do anything with bak file) search for hex value
76 4E 6F 69 then change all of them to 00 00 00 00 (mine was 10 times) then save.

3. Delete original .exe and .bak then rename unpack version file game .exe and .bak to
FATAL_FRAME_MOL.exe and FATAL_FRAME_MOL.exe.bak

Launch the game enjoy!
