In this guide I’ll show you where to find food all throughout Conton City in Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2. This will be useful for the Majin Buu time rift quest, or if you just really want some food.

Item Shop

Note: Credit goes to Halloween Lizard

The first and most obvious way to get food is by purchasing them in the Item Shop. If you go under the Food category, there should be tons of options for you to choose from. However, if this is your first time playing Xenoverse 2, the only item you’ll probably have in there is water, as the rest of the food items are unlocked once you finish story mode.

The Item Shop is located in the plaza, next to all the other shops. If you are in the situation stated above, or you just don’t want to spend any of your zeni, keep on reading for other ways to find food in Xenoverse 2.

NPCs

Another easy and cost-free way to get food is through NPCs. Some NPCs within Conton City will ask if you’re hungry, or something within those lines and will proceed to give you some food, such as pudding or fish. They won’t give you food every single time though. Some NPCs that I know of that will offer food are Kolash, a Majin who will usually be seen standing behind the Item Shop, and Jinz, who will be standing next to Android 18. There are a few more NPCs that will offer you food when asked, so you’ll have to experiment a bit and go around talking to NPCs.

If you have any other names, feel free to let me know in the comments and I will add them to this guide. There is also one other NPC who will offer you food under special circumstances. This NPC is a Namekian who can be found in Guru’s house time rift in a small cabbage patch, located behind the house. He will ask you for a Medium Power Capsule is exchage for a gift. If you happen to have a capsule on hand and give it to him, you’ll receive a cabbage.

Blue Orbs

The next and most common way to obtain food is by collecting blue orbs. While flying (or walking) through Conton City, you may find tiny, blue and white orbs on the ground. If you go close to them and press Q, you get an item. Usually it’s a capsule, such as a power, aura, or healing capsule, but it can also be food. However, you can sometimes find food in the blue orbs that are located on grassy areas or hills.

Most of the orbs within the Reception Area or Business District will be capsules, so you need to know where to look. I’ll be giving you most of these locations below. Again, if you have any other places that you know you can find food, please leave them below in the comments.

Water

Perhaps one of the easiest places to look for food is in water. Usually in any medium-sized body of water you’ll find at least one blue orb in it which will give you either water or a type of fish. Both of these can be used to feed Majin Buu.

If you don’t know where to find a body of water, there’s one big stream behind Grandpa Gohan’s house, as well as the lake by Kame House. In the picture to the right, I found 3 Giant Fish in the shallow water by Kame House.

Other Locations

Along with the above, there are some very specific locations where you can find food within Conton City.

  • Mushroom District (look by the root of the one of the biggest mushrooms)
  • Ajisa District (look in the cabbage patch)
  • Grandpa Gohan’s House (there should be a blue orb by the big roasted fish, as pictured to the right)

If you’ve collected all these orbs, go into a match and come back to have them all reset so you can obtain them again. Also, as I stated before, these aren’t the only locations you can find food. If you look on hills or grassy areas in the countryside, as well as the steps in the Business Area, and Krillin’s milk route, you can also find blue orbs containing food.

Speaking of Krillin’s milk route, if you do Krillin’s special task and successfully deliver milk to the 1-3 recipients, you will receive zeni and milk. You can offer the milk to Majin Buu’s kids, and it should work out fine.
