Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need a controller to play?

Jusant is playable with mouse and keyboard but the controls were designed with controllers in mind, and we strongly recommend using a controller for the best experience.

I played the demo. Does my progress carry over?

No, your progress will reset.

How do I get the best graphics on PC?

On the first launch of Jusant, the game may automatically recognize your graphics settings to be lower than they actually are. While we work on a fix, you can manually set your graphics a level higher and see how you go.

Does the game have accessibility features?

There are some accessibility settings in Jusant, like font and camera options.

In a future patch releasing at the end of November, we will implement the following features:

• No Stamina
  • Allows players to play the game without the stamina mechanic
• Simplified Climbing Mode
  • Enables climbing and moving on the wall solely by using the stick
  • Eliminates the need to hold down buttons for the piton or rope actions
• Jump Assistance
  • Automatically grabs holds around the character when active
• Simplified Interactions
  • Eliminates the need to hold down buttons for cranks and altars
• Rappel Modification
  • Switches to a rappel mode where the left stick controls ascent and descent
• Colorblind Mode
  • Offers different color filters (3) to enhance color rendering for individuals with difficulty perceiving certain colors.

What should I do if I run into a bug?

You can report the bug on our Help Center.

Do I need to know how to climb to play?

Nope! You can hop right in and immediately start getting to grips with the climbing tools.

Is the soundtrack available to buy anywhere?

Yes! You can buy the soundtrack on its own on Steam or get it with the game in a bundle.

Or you can buy it on other digital platforms.
