Different approach. Amount of trucks you can use are limited by your base size. Main Base – 4 tucks. Outpost – only 2, so of you open 2 outposts it will allow 4 vehicles. In any case 4 is is max.
So BEFORE you start your expedition you should choose where you start and how many vehicles you will need. If you don’t (prepare) than finished expedition and next time plan accordingly your needs.
You’ve got to plan ahead before you start your expedition. Figure out how many (and what kind) of vehicles you want, how you want them equipped and where you want them stationed.
Pretty early on you can have access to multiple camps and bases, and even establish your own. Having some recovery or supply vehicles forward deployed into the backcountry can be a huge help if your main scout or prospecting trucks get into a problem.
