Guide for Newbies

Introduction

Hello and welcome to Bakso Simulator.

I’ll be your guide on the basics on managing your very own Bakso restaurant. This guide teaches you all of the basic needs that the game does not tell you normally. The main goal of this game is to become the most successful Bakso restaurant in the world, and you start off with a very small cart with your friend helping you with the business. Your job is to manage the business; setup the tables, supply the ingredients, provide people with drinks when necessary, and explore new ways to expand your business! Like most entrepreneurship simulator your main goal is to gain profit to expand your business, and that’s what we’ll be discussing about in this guide.

New Beginning

You start at a house with your friend to help him setup your Bakso Restuarant business. He takes you to your Bakso stall and teaches you how to refill the ingredients for him to start making Bakso, setting up the chairs for customers to sit, after he goes on telling you all the places you can use to help with your business. Most of the guides can be found at the pause menu, but it doesn’t tell you all of the other things you really need to know. So here are some things that you need to know:

Managing Supplies

What your friend didn’t tell you is that eventually the ingredients and gas runs out and he can’t make more Bakso without them. To refill them you need to go to your tablet and pay LP 45.000 to refill 25 of each ingredient. However, there is a cheaper way of buying supplies and its by going to shops and buy them from there. You can go to the supermarket located near the town park and buy ingredients with a cheaper price. You can buy gas by going to Toku Serbaguna located at the left side of your restaurant for LP 37.500. One major problem is that you can only carry 5 items at once so you need to go back and fourth to carry all of the supplies to the restaurant, which is tiring and inconvenient. Leaving to resupply also leaves your restaurant vulnerable to robberies and fly swarm attacks. So I recommend restocking more supplies in advanced by purchasing extra ingredients and gas before re-opening, that way you don’t have to run around just to buy more.

Bakso Man

Bakso Man will be the one cooking all of the Bakso for your customers, and you have to be sure to train him to make him cook more food faster and unlock new customers to the restaurant. Bakso Man has four skills; Cooking Speed, Cooking Skill, Working Motivation, and Walking Speed. For starters you need to increase his Cooking Speed to make him cook more faster, Bakso Man has to cook Bakso to each customer one by one so speed is the key on keeping all your customers served and fed. Walking Speed works to make him carry your cart faster and starting your business early. Cooking Skills helps you unlock new costumers to the restaurant. And Working Motivation allows him to work longer instead of working until 17:00. Both of these skills can be raised by buying an upgrade for him at the Les Masak located just at the right infront of your restaurant.

Gambling

Okay so you may think gambling your money long enough helps you make more money without doing the actual work. But I’m telling you, do not use your money on gambling. They cost a lot of money ranging from 200.000 to 1.000.000! If you’re unlucky you might lose all your money, so don’t take that risk, the rewards aren’t worth it. I tried it once and I lost a fraction of my profit already. However if you are willing to take the risk, then I’m not stopping, you have been warned though. You can start by going through your tablet or go to the arcade at night and play a variety of minigames for the prize of around 200.00 to 700.000.

Gardening

Gardening is another way to get ingredients or harvest flowers to gain some extra cash. You can get seeds by going to Toko Tanaman beside the electronics shop. There are seven seeds in total. Bakso and Sawi Toge seeds help you grow ingredients. Sunflower and Rose seeds grow flowers that you can sell. Crate seeds grow random crates. And carrot and onion seeds just does the same as the Sunflower and Rose seeds I think. You can plant them at the park by going to the field and plant your seeds there, you need to water them every 5 minutes before they can grow fully.

Seats and Tables

Your customers obviously cannot eat without a place to sit and put their plates on. You can buy chairs and tables by going to My Basko just infront of your restaurant. The cheapest chair cost LP 225.000, the quality of the chair doesnt matter at the beginning of the game. Just buy the cheapest chairs and you’ll have more customers to serve. You can also place tables near the chairs and place table decorations to gain bonus ratings for your restaurant.

Security

Your restaurant may get sabotaged by flies and thieves that ruins your ratings and steal your furniture. You should always keep an eye out of your restaurant especially in the early games. You can hire a security guard to protect your business by defeating 65 thieves, but that takes forever to get, so you always need to be there in case something bad happens.
