Try setting the MTU (Maximum Transmission Unit) of the received wireless connection of the steam deck to a value between 1400 and 1500, because apparently Ubisoft Connect cant run on higher rates, which the Steam Deck uses.
There is an easy way to do it and to reverse it: You can set this up in Desktop Mode of the Steam Deck. Once in Desktop Mode, go there via: Start Menu – Connections (System Settings) – Wi-Fi – “your currently used wifi” – MTU (way at the bottom of all settings).
Then type in something from 1400 to 1500. I used 1452. Then restart the Steam Deck and try it out. If it doesnt work, you can just set it back to automatic/ default.
