Warframe – Tips for Noobs

5 Tips for Noobs

Note: Credit goes to viper

1: Try always play on a squad, when i started it helps to much have a squad for the missions and good squad will always have at least one person who knows what they’re doing (or at least has an opinion) on anything from weapons to warframes to mods, (the nice ones wil try to help you on more missions, give u tips and more things. Squads also make it easier to share resources like mods or frames with each other. This is especially true if your frame is expensive and hard to get; once you’ve unlocked it, why not give it away? It’s better than having it sit around collecting dust!

2: Always do Parkour, the best thing on this game its the movimentation, and double jumping and wall running make things go faster and let you shoot on the move. But, i think that you dont know what is this things, so let me explain:

  • Wall Run – The basic move. Press jump while sliding against a wall or other obstacle, then tap the pitch button (the mouse wheel by default) while still holding forward to continue moving up or sideways during your jump.
  • Wall Jump – When landing from any kind of jump, press pitch again in midair while aiming at any surface that will support your weight (not all do). If done correctly, this will allow you to bounce off surfaces like on Earthbound’s monsters!
  • Wall Dash/Plant/Leap – By holding down both sprint and crouch keys simultaneously before hitting the jump key, players can dash into enemies with their melee weapon for an instant kill.

3: Dont forget to grind everyday, at least for 50 minutes is always good and keep you up in form!

4: Don’t try to avoid getting hit during big fights, one of the most common mistakes new players make is trying to avoid getting hit during big fights. Don’t do this! All defenses in Warframe scale based on how much damage you take over time, so soak up as much as you can during tough missions!

5: And the first thing you should do is complete the tutorials. They’re not mandatory and they may be a bit boring, but they give you a nice introduction to the game while introducing you to a few of the warframes that will be available later on. My first game was Naughty Dog’s Crash Bandicoot (PlayStation) back in 1996. And since then gaming has been my main hobby. I turned my passion for gaming into a job by starting my first geek blog in 2009. When I’m not working on the site, I play mostly on my PlayStation. But I also love outdoor activities and especially skiing.
