New World – Stonecutting Leveling (0-200) Guide

Stonecutting is a skill in the Refining Trade category in the New World. Raw Gemstones are transformed into Cut Gemstones, which can then be socketed into gem socketed Armor and Weapons. We’ll cover everything you need to know about Stonecutting leveling in the New World in this guide.

Leveling Stonecutting in the New World

Stonecutting is the process of transforming raw gemstones into cut gemstones, which are then used to make various Trinkets. Stonecutting of a higher level is required to cut higher tier gems.

So, how do you improve your stonecutting skills in the New World? You can simply cut a large number of gems on a regular basis. The higher level you reach, the more gems you cut. The more difficult task here is gathering all of the necessary resources, which becomes more difficult as you progress through the tiers.

Stonecutting

Stonecutting can be done at the Stonecutting Table, which is a crafting station for the stone found throughout the settlements. You can raise the tier levels of this table by completing the town projects.

The learned recipes can be found on the left panel of the crafting interface. When you select a recipe, the required materials for that recipe will appear in the middle of the screen.

Let us now discuss the materials and other skills required for Stonecutting.

Materials for Stonecutting

Crafting materials can range from one to seven different types. Some recipes will necessitate the use of materials from a specific category. If a category is already mentioned, you cannot use a material from another category for crafting. The raw gemstones in the New World are divided into four tiers, each of which is denoted by a grade.

  • Flawed (T2)
  • Ungraded (T3)
  • Brilliant (T4)
  • Pristine (T5)

One of the following types of raw gemstones can be found in the tiers listed above.

  • Amethyst
  • Aquamarine
  • Diamond
  • Emerald
  • Jasper
  • Malachite
  • Moonstone
  • Onyx
  • Opal
  • Ruby
  • Sapphire
  • Topaz

Tier Requirements for Stonecutting Tables

The Stonecutting table Tiers are crucial because each gemstone requires a Stonecutting table of a specific tier. Below is a table with some of the stones, as well as the Stonecutting table tier that is required to cut them.

The Advantages of Increasing Your Stonecutting Level

Stonecutting has its own set of advantages. You can insert these gemstones into the empty sockets of your Armor or Weapons after cutting them out, and they will give you a defensive or offensive perk.

The perk will be determined by the type of item into which the gem is inserted. The higher the tier of Gemstones, the more powerful the perks. As a result, by increasing your stonecutting level, you’ll be able to get better buffs from your slotting.

How to Increase Stonecutting’s Power

In New World, the best way to quickly level up the Stonecutting Skill is to craft items from the lower Tier. The main reason for this is that the cost of crafting materials increases as you progress through the Tiers. The cost of gaining XP is simply not in the higher tier crafts’ favor.

Furthermore, the resources are a little easier to come by at a lower Tier, so you won’t have trouble crafting a lot of items in that category.

Now we’ll tell you exactly what to craft at each level, as well as the materials you’ll need. Don’t worry about anything else; just follow the instructions below.
