Troubleshooting Guide

Game was not able to detect my resolution

In some rare cases, the game can fail to detect your monitor resolution.

Solution:

Open game settings and select the required resolution.

Game does not offer the required resolution in settings

Solution:

Open vars.ini file and edit line starting with v_resolution to your required resolution in the form

Solution:

Open vars.ini file and edit line starting with v_ui_scale_override to your required scale. For 100% scale (no change) it’s 1.0, for 125% scale it’s 1.25, for 150% scale it’s 1.5, etc.

To disable dynamic scale, set value to any negative number. vars.ini file location:

  • A) Windows: Documents\NeposGames\Nebuchadnezzar\vars.ini
  • B) Linux: home/.local/share/NeposGames/Nebuchadnezzar/vars.ini

My first game was Naughty Dog’s Crash Bandicoot (PlayStation) back in 1996. And since then gaming has been my main hobby. I turned my passion for gaming into a job by starting my first geek blog in 2009. When I’m not working on the site, I play mostly on my PlayStation. But I also love outdoor activities and especially skiing.
