The devs are currently aware of this issue and working on getting it resolved. It seems that some languages have it, and some don’t.
As a workaround, you can select another language, click the green checkbox, then select your original language again, and it should appear.
If it doesn’t, try selecting a different language than last time.
Explanation
So in order to get the Player option to show up, you need to switch to another language, then switch back.
It sounds weird, but that’s what works for now.
