Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning – How to Fix Her Righteous Fury Quest

This guide describes how to fix a save with the “Her Righteous Fury” Quest in a broken state.

The Fix

Create a save file outside of the cistern.

Download a hex editor, like HxD. Open up your save at Steam\userdata(your ID)\102500\remote

Search “Cistern”, and line up the section you find with the following:

This section starts with the 01, and will end four empty “00” bytes before the next “01” for the next quest. This will reset the quest to it’s base state, and should work correctly when you re-enter the cistern.

You may also need to search up A5 EE 17 00 (In hex) and replace it with 00 00 00 00 to re-enable fast travel. I did that first, so I don’t know if it will reset on it’s own.
