Hidden Deep – Your Settings Are Not Saved

Do you configure your game and when you reopen it it turns out that the configuration has not been saved? Well this is your guide, we will see step by step how to effectively configure the resolution and language of Hidden Deep.

Fast Process

  • Press Windows+R and type %appdata%
  • This will send us to the “ROAMING” folder, we go back one folder (to APPDATA) and enter the folder called “LOCAL”
  • Now we enter the folder called “Daedalic Entertainment GmbH” and enter the folder “Hidden Deep”
  • Once here, we open the file called “Config” with the notepad and that’s it, here we can edit all the startup configurations of the game

Step By Step Process

First we are going to enter the folder where the Hidden Deep boot configuration data is located.

  • Press Windows+R and type %appdata%
  • This will send us to the “ROAMING” folder, we go back one folder (to APPDATA) and enter the folder called “LOCAL”

Once here, we open the file called “Config” with the notepad and that’s it, here we can edit all the boot configurations

To edit the resolution, we have to take into account the resolution of our monitor (image of common resolutions).

The following must be taken into account: The sentences that begin with a # are comments from the programmers, explaining what each thing does, those that do not begin with a # are the ones that we have to edit.

Now, to change whether it will be in windowed, full screen or borderless window mode, we are going to change the value of the statement “Windowed= x”

The values are as follows:

  • To switch to full screen, they have to change the value to 0. Example: “Windowed=0”
  • To change to Window, they have to change the value to 1. Example: “Windowed=1”
  • To change to Borderless Window, you have to change the value to 2. Example: “Windowed=2”

In case you want to change the language from English to that of your country (as long as the game allows it) You only have to change EN (ENGLISH) for the shortening of the language of your country (Example: spanish = es)
