Follow this guide to discover all coffee thermoses hidden around Bright Falls.

Episode 1 – Nightmare

Coffee Thermos #1: This one is right at the start of the game by the ruined covered bridge. Head here before following the path to the lighthouse or you will have to restart the game again.
Coffee Thermos #2: You will find it in “A Writer’s Dream” in a bunker. This bunker is shortly after you have been acquired and thought how to use the flashlight and revolver. Do not drop down from this hill. If you do, you can reload the last checkpoint to be back on top.
Coffee Thermos #3: You will find it at the end “A Writer’s Dream” on a log bench. You will reach the end of this chapter when you just crossed a bridge and arrived at the Lighthouse.
Coffee Thermos #4: You will find it in “Welcome to Bright Falls” at the beginning. It is on the kitchen trolley under the ”Oh Deer Diner” sign. While looking at the kitchen, it will be in front of it to the right side. If you happen to skip this by accident, you will have one more chance at getting it after the cutscene.
Coffee Thermos #5: You will find it in “Welcome to Bright Falls” when you have arrived at the cabin. Turn around and head up the hill via the path. Once you have reached the top of the hill it will be on the ground in front of the suv.
Coffee Thermos #6: You will find it in “Welcome to Bright Falls” in the kitchen inside of the cabin. Just cross the bridge and head into the cabin.
Coffee Thermos #7: You will find it in “Waking up to a Nightmare” at the first logging camp. You will come across a dead body, right near this dead body is a pickup truck. You will find it laying on the ground behind the pickup truck.
Coffee Thermos #8: You will find it in “Waking up to a Nightmare” when you come across the river. Cross the first log, as you head downward head to the left side once you have crossed. It will be on a rock at the end of this small island.
Coffee Thermos #9: You will find it in “Waking up to a Nightmare” at the second timber yard. It will be in the far right corner as you enter the timber yard on top of a boulder. Near the boulder is a switch you will use after you have turned on the generator.
Coffee Thermos #10: You will find it in “Waking up to a Nightmare” overlooking the third logging camp laying on a boulder near the edge. You will have just walked or ran up a hill coming from the second logging camp and a checkpoint.
Coffee Thermos #11: You will find it in “Waking up to a Nightmare” shortly after picking up #10. You will reach a Safe Heaven in which while starting the generator you will be attacked by foes. This one will be off the path to the right side on the edge of the cliff. You will find two barrels here. You will likely be attacked by foes when you have approached it like what happens to me.
Coffee Thermos #12: You will find it in “Waking up to a Nightmare” in the third logging camp. It is on the caterpillar tracks of the yellow crane. You will have just defeated a group of foes and Carl Stucky at this point.
Coffee Thermos #13: You will find it at the end “Waking up to a Nightmare” at Stucky’s Gas Station. It is on the base of the gas station sign.
Coffee Thermos #14: You will find it at the end “Waking up to a Nightmare” at the end of the road at the entrance to the tunnel. It is laying on the ground near the front of the truck. You will be attacked by groups of foe’s when you are down here. Do not go inside of Stucky’s Gas Station and use the phone, as this will end episode one. If you accidently happen to use the phone and are still viewing the cutscene, quickly press start and reload the last checkpoint. You will have to collect everything again in the area.

Episode 2 – Taken

Coffee Thermos #15: You will find it in “Bright Falls Sheriff Station” where it’s located inside Alice’s office on her desk next to her PC screen, in her and Alan Wake’s apartment. Now go make some coffee!
Coffee Thermos #16: You will find it in “Bright Falls Sheriff Station” after talking with the doctor, you walk all the way forward into the radio room. It’s on the table right by the coffee maker.
Coffee Thermos #17: You will find it behind the “Bright Falls Sheriff Station” when you go outside to the loading dock. There you can spot it right next to a radio that’s on top of a junker.
Coffee Thermos #18: You will find it in “Elderwood National Park” when you walk behind the counter of the visitor center and you see it on the kitchen countertop.
Coffee Thermos #19: You will find it in “Elderwood National Park” on the kitchen counter inside of Rusty’s Cabin. It’s — where else? — next to the coffee maker.
Coffee Thermos #20: You will find it in “Elderwood National Park” go around to the front of Rusty’s Cabin before leaving Lover’s Peak. You’ll see it on the hot tub.
Coffee Thermos #21: You will find it in “Elderwood National Park” on top of a table inside of the storage shed at the visitor center.
Coffee Thermos #22: You will find it in “Elderwood National Park” laying in front of a tree behind of the Park Ranger’s Office.
Coffee Thermos #23: You will find it in “Elderwood National Park” on a rock shelf behind a broken fence overlooking the tree ring. Near the generator and pay phone with the axe. You will have just come across another Safe Haven, a phone booth and a picnic table.
Coffee Thermos #24: You will find it in “Elderwood National Park” on a picnic table at the tree ring (to the right of Through Tree). Just before this you will have come across another sign leading you in the direction of Lovers’ Peak and a gate barricaded by some logs.
Coffee Thermos #25: You will find it in “Elderwood National Park” behind the sign by Lovers’ Peak on the rocky cliff.
Coffee Thermos #26: You will find it in “Elderwood National Park” after climbing the high angled fallen tree, look on a table inside of a hut with a generator. There is a Safe Haven in front of the hut. Make sure to not drop down the cliff nearby before grabbing it.
Coffee Thermos #27: You will find it in “Elderwood National Park” on the edge of a high-up rocky cliff overlooking the old water mill by the river. You would of just come across another Safe Haven moments before this, where a generator needed to be started (the burned building sequence).
Coffee Thermos #28: You will find it in “Elderwood National Park” when you go inside the previous mentioned old watermill building. Get to the very top and kick down the sandbag on a wire, that brings up a wooden elevator, so you can cross a small gap onto the other side. Keep walking until you see a window with the thermos on top of a table. Watch out for the darkness on the floor before you get there, though!
Coffee Thermos #29: You will find it in “Elderwood National Park” as you are entering the Camper Park campgrounds, look on top of a picnic table.
Coffee Thermos #30: You will find it in “Elderwood National Park” on the ground at the back of a jackknifed big-rig truck. Once you are in the truck from the campground area, take a right as you exit the area leading you to a blocked tunnel.
Coffee Thermos #31: You will find it in “Elderwood National Park” on top of a picnic table right at the entrance to the visitor center. Another big-rig carrying tree logs with be nearby partially on the road.

Episode 3 – Ransom

Coffee Thermos #32: You will find it in “On The Run” on top of a picnic table near two trailers and a yacht. It’s near the grill (opposite of the Hot Dog shop).
Coffee Thermos #33: You will find it in “On The Run” on the kitchen counter inside of Rose’s trailer. It’s right next to the — again, where else? — coffee maker.
Coffee Thermos #34: You will find it in “On The Run” on the stove inside of the Ranger’s Station.
Coffee Thermos #35: You will find it in “On The Run” on a boulder, next to a little ramp, at the top of the hill behind the searchlight. This is hard to miss as you will need to turn on the generator and use the spotlight to get past the possessed fence at the bottom of the hill.
Coffee Thermos #36: You will find it in “On The Run” in front of the car, at the base of the large radio station sign. You must get this before you go inside the radio station, because you won’t be able to go outside to get it afterwards.
Coffee Thermos #37: You will find it in “On The Run” there is a very long path after the radio station. After the radio station and the safe haven take a right at the giant stone. Follow this long path all the way up and it’s out on the edge of the rocky cliff overlooking the radio station. The radio mast/tower will be nearby further up the hill.
Coffee Thermos #38: You will find it in “On The Run” on a small pool inside the shanty (small shed) on the right as you work your way to the train depot. It’s near the old barn.
Coffee Thermos #39: You will find it in “On The Run” back right on top of some pallets in the train storage yard. It’s near a ramp and gas canisters.
Coffee Thermos #40: You will find it in “On The Run” on top of the concrete foundation of the grain silo. It will be on the right side when you open the gated fence to exit the train depot yard (the area after the bulldozer).

Coffee Thermos #41: You will find it in “Mirror Peak” sitting on a red chair, it will be overlooking the cliff / valley, right before you go under the damaged bridge.
Coffee Thermos #42: You will find it in “Mirror Peak” tucked inside the corner of the blocked mine entrance at the museum’s entrance, it’s the small mine shaft near the coal mine parking lot.
Coffee Thermos #43: You will find it in “Mirror Peak” on top of a shelf in the storage area inside the Coal Mine Museum Entrance. After the cutscene inside the Coal Mine Museum, it will be on the floor below when you drop down. It’s downstairs after the kidnapper calls.
Coffee Thermos #44: You will find it in “Mirror Peak” on top of a red chair at the top floor of the second mind warehouse. Manuscript Page #51 will also be inside of this room on the table.
Coffee Thermos #45: You will find it in “Mirror Peak” sitting at the end of a partially collapsed wooden bridge. This collapsed bridge is near Chest #12 and just before crossing the rope bridge.
Coffee Thermos #46: You will find it in “Mirror Peak” on top of a table in a red barn just shortly after Coffee Thermos #45. After you cross the rope bridge, head in the direction to your left to come across the red barn.
Coffee Thermos #47: You will find it in “Mirror Peak” on the ground, inside the right side of a red barn at the Gray Peak Gorge Ghost Town. It is after you have crossed the damaged bridge, you would have just found Manuscript Page #53.
Coffee Thermos #48: You will find it in “Mirror Peak” after the train, on top of a chest behind a shack with a windmill fan sticking out. The shack here will also have the required key in order to get inside the house.
Coffee Thermos #49: You will find it in “Mirror Peak” sitting on top of a log inside of a narrow cave alcove. This is just after the first and only battle inside of the cave with the Taken, look in the collapsed left shaft there.
Coffee Thermos #50: You will find it in “Mirror Peak” sitting on the rocky cliff just after crossing the long rope bridge. When you cross this long rope bridge, it will be on the left side. It’s right behind the big rock.
Coffee Thermos #51: You will find it in “Mirror Peak” sitting on the ground in front of a fence / metal grated gate. If you see it from the other side of the fence, you will need to go through the house first. Then when you drop out of the house from the other side, then go to the back left of the house and you will be able to grab it.

Episode 4 – The Truth

Coffee Thermos #52: You will find it in “Cauldron Lake Lodge” on top of the reception desk at the entrance to Hartman’s Lodge.
Coffee Thermos #53: You will find it in “Cauldron Lake Lodge” sitting on the mezzanine balcony overlooking the couches and area below.
Coffee Thermos #54: You will find it in “Cauldron Lake Lodge” sitting on the windowsill of the room just before Hartman’s office.
Coffee Thermos #55: You will find it in “Cauldron Lake Lodge” sitting on the stone walkway outside of the lodge. Just as you exit the lodge, you will see a sculpture in the middle; it will be on the walkway to the right.
Coffee Thermos #56: You will find it in “Cauldron Lake Lodge” sitting on the ground in the gazebo. You will have just killed Birch, who worked for Hartman.
Coffee Thermos #57: You will find it in “Cauldron Lake Lodge” on the stone wall on the raised middle of the garden. There is a Safe Haven right here, and is just before the ending of Cauldron Lake Lodge.
Coffee Thermos #58: You will find it in “The Anderson Farm” on top of a small crate on top of a cart platform. This is just outside the old mine.
Coffee Thermos #59: You will find it in “The Anderson Farm” on top of some fire logs at the camping area someone had setup.

Coffee Thermos #60: You will find it in “The Anderson Farm” on the window at a house in ruins. There will be a Safe Haven here, and just before coming across Walker’s Cabin.
Coffee Thermos #61: You will find it in “The Anderson Farm” on the kitchen counter inside of Walter’s Cabin.
Coffee Thermos #62: You will find it in “The Anderson Farm” sitting on the ground next to a rusting tractor. This will be along the road while in the truck coming from Walter’s Cabin.
Coffee Thermos #63: You will find it in “The Anderson Farm” on top of a tree stump next to another rusting tractor further down the road. This will be near the t-intersection in the grassy area, overlooking the Anderson Farm.
Coffee Thermos #64: You will find it in “The Anderson Farm” on top of the control panel where Barry is standing.
Coffee Thermos #65: You will find it in “The Anderson Farm” on the bleacher in front of the stage. You can get this before going towards the stage for a cutscene, during the fight with all the Taken while on the stage or after you have fought off all the Taken.
Coffee Thermos #66: You will find it in “The Anderson Farm” on top of the table by the rusting car inside the big barn.
Coffee Thermos #67: You will find it in “The Anderson Farm” on top of a shelf on the third floor inside the silo barn/garage.
Coffee Thermos #68: You will find it in “The Anderson Farm” sitting on a chair inside of the restroom in the Anderson house. The restroom is immediately to the right as you enter the house.
Coffee Thermos #69: You will find it in “The Anderson Farm” on the kitchen counter inside of the Anderson house.

Episode 5 – The Clicker

Coffee Thermos #70: You will find it in “Night Life in Bright Falls” on top of the filing cabinet close to Deputy Grant’s Desk in the Sheriff’s Station.
Coffee Thermos #71: You will find it in “Night Life in Bright Falls” on the counter of the information kiosk by the water.
Coffee Thermos #72: You will find it in “Night Life in Bright Falls” sitting on the ground in the serving area at the Oh Deer Diner.
Coffee Thermos #73: You will find it in “Night Life in Bright Falls” sitting on the ground at the end of the road next to the port-a-potty and dump truck.
Coffee Thermos #74: You will find it in “Night Life in Bright Falls” on top of a table underneath a tent and near some plastic tables.
Coffee Thermos #75: You will find it in “Night Life in Bright Falls” on the counter inside the kitchen next to the Mayor’s Office.
Coffee Thermos #76: You will find it in “Night Life in Bright Falls” on top of the bookshelf inside the local bookshop. You will clearly see it from outside through the window.
Coffee Thermos #77: You will find it in “Night Life in Bright Falls” sitting on the ground inside of the kiddie sandbox, in the park. This is just outside of the local bookshop.
Coffee Thermos #78: You will find it in “Night Life in Bright Falls” sitting on the ground in the corner of the wine cellar of the Bright Falls Church.
Coffee Thermos #79: You will find it in “Night Life in Bright Falls” sitting on a wooden barrier at the Bright Falls Fire Station.

Coffee Thermos #80: You will find it in “Bright Fall Light & Power” sitting on top of a concrete barrier on the right side next to the fence.
Coffee Thermos #81: You will find it in “Bright Fall Light & Power” sitting inside of a concrete pipe inside of the warehouse, near the exit.
Coffee Thermos #82: You will find it in “Bright Fall Light & Power” sitting on top of a small stack of pallets. This is right after encountering two Taken and near the exit of the transformer yard.
Coffee Thermos #83: You will find it in “Bright Fall Light & Power” sitting on the ground in the grass in front of the first control booth.
Coffee Thermos #84: You will find it in “Bright Fall Light & Power” sitting on the couch inside of the second control booth.
Coffee Thermos #85: You will find it in “Bright Fall Light & Power” sitting on the ground in front of the security hut in the corner. This will be just before you enter the power plant.
Coffee Thermos #86: You will find it in “Bright Fall Light & Power” sitting on the ground in Cynthia’s room inside the power plant. It is between her low bookcase and a table.
Coffee Thermos #87: You will find it in “Bright Fall Light & Power” sitting on the ground in the grass inside of the giant concrete pipe. This is just before going up and waiting for an elevator.
Coffee Thermos #88: You will find it in “Bright Fall Light & Power” sitting on the ground at the edge of the cliff overlooking the area below the elevator. This is just after exiting the elevator as well as collecting coffee thermos #87 below.
Coffee Thermos #89: You will find it in “Bright Fall Light & Power” sitting on top of a shelf inside of the last dam fortification at the bottom. Have you had enough caffeine yet?

Episode 6 – Departure

Coffee Thermos #90: You will find it in “On the Road to Cauldron Lake” on top of the picnic table at the rest stop. This is right after you are out of the apartment and finish the cutscene.
Coffee Thermos #91: You will find it in “On the Road to Cauldron Lake” sitting on the ground on the side of the barn and next to a crate. This is during the daytime, make sure to grab this before heading into the tunnel.
Coffee Thermos #92: You will find it in “On the Road to Cauldron Lake” sitting on the ground inside the reception restroom at the Majestic Motel.
Coffee Thermos #93: You will find it in “On the Road to Cauldron Lake” sitting on the porch of a farmer’s cottage. This is right near the well-lighted garage barn.
Coffee Thermos #94: You will find it in “On the Road to Cauldron Lake” sitting on a shelf at the junk yard’s office and garage on the ground floor.
Coffee Thermos #95: You will find it in “On the Road to Cauldron Lake” sitting on top of a stack of pallets right near the ramp to the scrapyard crane base.
Coffee Thermos #96: You will find it in “On the Road to Cauldron Lake” sitting on a shelf inside the Holloway and Company building. This is on your way to the ruined church with a bright light in front. It is will be in the second to last house on the right.
Coffee Thermos #97: You will find it in “On the Road to Cauldron Lake” sitting on the ground on top of the mine cart bridge at the far corner.
Coffee Thermos #98: You will find it in “On the Road to Cauldron Lake” sitting on the ground inside of a rail carriage. You are close to the carriage when you start getting attacked by tele-flankers.
Coffee Thermos #99: You will find it in “On the Road to Cauldron Lake” sitting in the grass behind the windmill at the mine encampment.
Coffee Thermos #100: You will find it in “The Dark Place” sitting on the ground next to the sofa. You will need to shine your flashlight on it to make it appear.
