If you have newish PC with windows 10, and if AIM2 keeps crashing, this might help.

If you have tried all other tricks, then here is what worked for me
What I did was that I turned off the Variable framerate feature from Nvidia control panel and from monitor’s own settings.
Then I went to 3D-settings for every program. I added AIM2.exe to list and changed many of its settings to differ from global settings (below).
