Part 1 – Starting your Farm
For starting your farm, you need seeds first. But when you start, you get 15 parsnip seeds. First, hoe 5 blocks across, til you have 3 rows. After your parsnips grow and you harvest them, get 10 potato seeds at Pierre’s General Store. Plant your potato seeds in the first two rows. Always remember to water your plants!
Part 2 – Animals
Animals. Okay, lets get started on Part 2 – Animals. After awhile, you should get the silo. It costs 100g, 100 stone, 10 clay, and 5 copper bars. You have to buy it at the Carpenter’s Shop (Robin’s). To stock the silo with hay, use a scythe and cut grass (not fiber).When you get about 100 hay in the silo, you should get a coop. It costs 4000g, 300 wood, and 100 stone. You have to buy it at Carpenter’s Shop (Robin’s). It takes 3 days to build. Once is it fully built, get some chickens at Marnie’s Ranch. Chickens cost 1000g each. They lay eggs once they grow to be adult chickens. Always remember to feed them!!
Part 3 – Upgrading
Lets get into Part 3 – Upgrading. First, you’ll need to get a sprinkler. You can craft it with 1 copper bar and 1 iron bar. It waters the 4 tiles by it every day unless the ground is not hoed.
Upgrading animals. You’ll want to get the barn awhile after the coop. You can buy it from the Carpenter’s Shop (Robin’s). It costs 6000g, 350 wood, and 150 stone. It takes 3 days for Robin to build it. After you get it, you’ll want to get cows. You can get them at Marnie’s Ranch for 1500g each. Adult cows can be milked daily with the milk pail. You can get the milk pail at Marnie’s Ranch for 1000g.
Part 4 – More Upgrading
Lets get going on Part 4 – More Upgrading. You’ll have to upgrade your coop to a big or deluxe coop. The big coop upgrade costs 10000g, 400 wood, and 150 stone. It houses 8 animals. If you get this upgrade, you should get some ducks. They lay duck eggs once they grow up to be adults. They are 4000g each. If you get the deluxe coop after the big coop, that’s recommended. It costs 20000g, 500 wood, and 200 stone. If you get this upgrade, you unlock rabbits. Rabbits cost 8000g. They produce wool and rabbit feet once they grow up to be adults. Also the deluxe coop houses 12 animals.
Barn Upgrading. You’ll have to upgrade your barn to a big or deluxe barn. The big barn costs 12000g, 450 wood, and 200 stone. It houses 8 animals. It also unlocks goats. Goats cost 4000g each. The deluxe barn unlocks the sheep and the pig. The deluxe barn houses 12 animals. The sheep costs 8000g each and the pig costs 16000g each.
More Upgrading. Before you get the barn, you’ll want to get a mayonaise machine. You can craft it with 15 wood, 15 stone, 1 earth crystal, and 1 copper bar. If you put any kind of egg in it, it turns it into mayonaise which you can sell. Before you get the barn upgrade, you’ll want to get the cheese press. You can craft it with 45 wood, 45 stone, 10 hardwood, and 1 copper bar. If you put milk in it, it will turn it into cheese which you can sell. Right after you get the deluxe barn upgrade, you’ll want to get the loom and the oil maker. You can craft the loom with 60 wood, 30 fiber, and 1 pine tar. If you put wool from a sheep in it, it makes it into fine cloth which you can sell. You can craft the oil maker with 50 slime, 20 hardwood, and 1 gold bar. It turns truffles from pigs into truffle oil which you can sell. When you start getting gold bars, get the quality sprinkler. You can craft it with 1 iron bar and 1 gold bar. It waters the 8 tiles around it every day unless the ground is not hoed.
