Aspects of the Zann Consortium's methods of corruption are qualified in this guide.

Zann Consortium Corruption Mission Mechanics



  1. Any Corrupt Militia mission remains active if the planet's ownership where the mission is active changes, even if it is the Zann Consortium that occupies the planet.
  2. Any Black Market mission remains active if the planet's ownership where the mission is active changes, unless it is the Zann Consortium that occupies the planet, in which case the Black Market mission is removed and replaced with basic Racketeering.
  3. Any Kidnapping mission remains active if the planet's ownership where the mission is active changes, unless it is the Zann Consortium that occupies the planet, in which case the Kidnapping mission is removed and replaced with basic Racketeering. Any Kidnapping mission is retired after the mission is completed, but can be repeated if the corruption is removed.
  4. Any Racketeering mission and monentary bonus is removedreplaced with basic Racketeering if the Zann Consortium occupies the planet where a Racketeering mission has been activated.
  5. All Intimidation missions are permanent and irreversable.
  6. Any Slavery mission remains active if the planet's ownership where the mission is active changes, even if it is the Zann Consortium that occupies the planet.
  7. Any Piracy mission remains active if the planet's ownership where the mission is active changes, even if it is the Zann Consortium that occupies the planet.
  8. Any Bribery mission remains active if the planet's ownership where the mission is active changes, unless if it is the Zann Consortium that occupies the planet, in which case the Bribery mission is removed and replaced with basic Racketeering..

Additional Tips & Tricks



Corruption reduces unit and system infrastructure costs for all factions.

Corruption allows for access to the base layout for the planet.

Corruption allows for permanent smugglers.

Corruption reduces cantina unit costs.

Bribery allows for access to the system's information.

Ground battles allow for persisting dvelopment of each planet's surface

The zann consortium can bribe their way through systems.

Defilers afford advantages to units fielded with them typical of field commanders.

Corrupted militias will be present and fight anywhere the mission is active and the player defends or attacks.

It is unknown whether or not corrupted militia have an effect on the outcome of ai-versus-ai (no player present) battles on any planet's surface.

If a system rebels and turns neutral due to the corrupt militia mission, all planetary infrastructure is destroyed.

Over your own planets, some enemys' hero's badges show on the map even though they may have stealth.

Over planets where information gathering / spying has been committed, some enemy heroes and / or their badges may become visible, even though those heroes may have stealth.
