Solarpunk is a survival game in a technically advanced world of floating islands. Alone or together with your friends, you can construct buildings, grow food, craft gadgets and hop on your airship to explore distant islands in the sky.

Frequently Asked Questions

Pure sandbox or also exploration and plot?

The main focus of the game is a sandbox experience. However, depending on the success of our Kickstarter campaign, we may explore the possibility of incorporating elements of exploration and plot into the game.

Will you also release on Gog or Epic?

Currently, we do not have plans to release the game on gog or epic.

Will there be procedural elements?

No, there won’t be any procedural elements in the game.

Will there be romance?

Romance is not planned to be included in the game.

Will there be a 3rd person perspective?

We understand that the community has shown interest in a 3rd person perspective. We will be testing the feasibility of implementing this feature in the future and will provide more information if it becomes possible.

How does the day and night cycle work?

The current status is that the day and night cycle lasts 20 minutes. However, we will explore the possibility of extending this duration as development progresses.

Will there be a demo available?

We are planning to release a demo when we reach the early access stage of development. Please be patient as we are still in the early stages of development.

There are so many survival crafting games now, what makes this one different? What is unique?

The uniqueness of our game lies in its setting and theme, which revolves around the genre of “Solarpunk.” This distinct setting sets our game apart from other survival crafting games.

Will it have Multiplayer/Co-op? Can I play it with my friends?

Yes, the game will have an online multiplayer mode, allowing you to play with your friends. However, since we are still in the early stages of development, we cannot confirm the exact number of players that will be supported simultaneously.

Will it have a local Co-op mode?

We would love to include a local co-op mode in our game, but at this early stage of development, we cannot provide specific details. Please stay tuned for future updates.

Will it have cross-play?

Currently, cross-play functionality is not planned. However, we will revisit this possibility in the future.

Will it be released on Xbox/PS5/Nintendo consoles?

We are eager to bring the game to consoles, including Xbox, PS5, and Nintendo platforms. However, as we are still in the early stages of development, we cannot provide more specific information at this time.

Is this a cozy game? Can I play it with my children?

We aim to make the game accessible to a wide player base, but we cannot provide specific details regarding its suitability for playing with children at this point. Stay tuned for future updates and information.

I am a Stream/Content Creator, can I have a Key?

Do you support my language?

We plan to release the game in multiple languages, including English, Japanese, German, French, Italian, Spanish – Spain, Portuguese – Brazil, Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese, Korean, and Portuguese – Portugal (subject to change). More languages may be added in the future.

How much will the game cost?

We have not determined the pricing for the game yet. For pricing updates and other news, please follow us.

Is there any type of combat?

Currently, we have no plans to include any form of combat in the game.

When is the release date?

We do not have a specific release date as we are still in the early stages of development.

What might this game’s age rating be?

It is too early to provide a specific age rating for the game at this stage of development. We will keep the community updated on any age rating decisions in the future.

Can we build our own airship like a voxel builder, or are we stuck with predetermined ships?

While the plan is to allow players to upgrade their airships and customize their designs, including color options, a fully functional airship editor is not currently planned for the game.

Will you be porting the game to mobile?

Our primary goal is to release the game on consoles and PC platforms, and we currently have no plans to port it to mobile devices.
