Frequently Asked Questions

Can I play the game on Windows 7 or 8?

No, the game will not work on Windows 7 or 8. Windows 10 or higher is required. Steam will be dropping support for Windows 7 and 8 from January 1, 2024.

Other languages?

At this time English is the only language. But the game should be fully playable without ever reading any text.

Is there an options menu to change sound and graphic settings in-game?

Yes, the game has an options menu to change resolution, windowed mode, audio volume, graphics quality settings and more.

Can I skip levels?

Yes, you can skip levels from the pause menu.

Can I undo if I make a mistake?

Yes, you can undo every move back to the start of the level. There is no downside to this, so undo as much as you want!

Are there multiple difficulty levels?

No. Puzzles are grouped into stages which start out simple and increase in difficulty.

Do I need to complete all levels and challenges?

No. Play at your own pace and skip any levels that melt your brain :D. This is meant to be a difficult puzzle game and its okay if you cannot complete all levels or challenges. Stages 4 to 7 will require some challenges to be completed.

What is Time Trial for?

Time Trial lets you play stages against a clock to test your memory. It was part of the very first demo and some people enjoyed it for speedrunning, so it was included in the full game. It is completely optional.

Do I need to complete a stage all at once without breaks?

No, your stage progress is saved after each puzzle. If you close the game mid-way through a stage, you can come back and continue where you left. Incomplete stages will show up as ‘In progress’ and ask you to continue or restart.

Can I replay only specific levels that I skipped before?

Yes, you can choose a stage and skip through any levels you don’t want to replay. I would like to have improved this, but it cannot be changed at this point.

Can I remap input keys?

At this time no. The game has very few inputs and all are mapped to standards like WASD / arrow keys for movement.

Why are my challenges are not showing up on the stage selection screen?

Challenges will show up on the stage selection screen after the stage is completed. If a stage is ‘in progress’ for the first time, it will not show completed challenges at the stage selection screen.
